1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that the sites you visit send to your terminal equipment (usually your browser), where they are stored and then sent back to the same sites the next time you visit.
Cookies can be distinguished on the basis of the following criteria:
a) according to who manages them:
(i) own or first-party cookies: these are cookies installed directly by the Company through the Site;
(ii) third-party cookies: these are cookies installed through the Site by third parties other than the Company;
b) based on the length of time they remain active:
(i) session cookies: these cookies store the necessary information during the browsing session and are deleted immediately after the session expires, i.e. when the browser is closed;
(ii) persistent cookies: these are stored on your hard disk and the Site reads them each time you visit. A persistent cookie has a fixed expiry date. The cookie will stop working after that date.
c) according to purpose:
The following cookies are used on the Site:
- Technical cookies
- Tracking or "analytics" cookies
- Profiling cookies
To find out more about this category of cookies, please continue reading this policy. Find out how they work and what they are used for, and choose freely whether to consent to their use or not.
2. What are technical cookies and how do they work?
Technical cookies are those we use for the sole purpose of enabling you to visit and use the Site.
They can be further divided into:
• navigation cookies: these ensure normal navigation and use of the Site. These are normally session cookies and are automatically deleted when you close your browser;
• functionality cookies: these allow navigation according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language or country of origin) in order to improve the service provided on the Site. These are persistent cookies, which remain on your computer even after you close your browser until the expiry date set for each cookie (typically two months to two years) or until you delete them.
As provided for by the privacy regulations in force, your prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies (Art. 122 of the Privacy Code). You are of course free to block the installation of technical cookies in the manner indicated in paragraph 5 below.
However, please note that by blocking the installation of technical cookies, or subsequently deleting them, your ability to access the Site, to use all or part of it, to enable or disable certain functions or to receive certain services may be wholly or partly compromised.
The following cookies are currently used on the Site:

3. Tracking or "analytics" cookies
Analytics cookies are used on the Site to collect statistical information, in aggregate or non-aggregate form, on the number of users accessing the Site and how they visit the Site. The analytics cookies on this Site are third-party cookies, as they are not installed directly by us but by third parties. The following third-party analytics cookies are installed on the Site without your prior consent because they are less invasive as they are anonymized and the third parties cannot access disaggregated analytics data at IP address level (in other words, by using these cookies, the third parties cannot trace your identity).
The following analytics cookies are currently used on the Site:
Other third-party analytics cookies are, however, only installed on the Site with your prior consent, because they are not anonymized and the third party can access disaggregated analytics data at the IP address level. Should you consent to the installation of cookies in this way, we will track your consent through a technical cookie. This will ensure that we do not display the cookie banner on your subsequent visits to the Site. Please note that if you delete this technical cookie from your browser in the manner set out in paragraph E (1) below, the record of your consent will be lost and you will therefore see the cookie banner again on your next visit to the Site. You are of course free to block the installation of analytics cookies at any time, without affecting your ability to visit the Site and enjoy its content in any way. To find out how to do this, please read the third party cookie policies carefully.
4. What are profiling cookies and how do they work?
Profiling cookies are used to create a profile of you as a user, based on the preferences and tastes you have shown while browsing the Internet, and to display advertisements consistent with your profile. As required by current privacy legislation, your prior consent is required for the installation of such cookies. Should you consent to the installation of cookies in this way, we will track your consent through a technical cookie. This will ensure that we do not display the cookie banner on your subsequent visits to the Site. Please note that if you delete this technical cookie from your browser in the manner set out in paragraph 5 (A) below, the record of your consent will be lost and you will therefore see the cookie banner again on your next visit to the Site. Of course, you are free to block the installation of profiling cookies at any time, without affecting your ability to visit the Site and enjoy its contents in any way. If you decide to deactivate behavioural advertising, this does not mean that you will no longer receive advertising. All profiling cookies are installed by third parties who act as independent data controllers (third-party cookies). Here is a list of the third-party profiling cookies currently used on the Site. Please read the privacy policies of these third parties carefully so that you have all the necessary information about their profiling cookies and how to opt-out of their installation:

When you disable third party cookies you will still see the banner on the home page of the Site relating to cookies; however, if you close the banner, scroll down the home page or click on any element of the home page other than the banner, you will not receive any third-party cookies that you have correctly disabled.

Personal data obtained through first-party technical cookies will be processed by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
