DRILL PAC USA Inc., established in 1995, is the U.S. subsidiary of DRILL PAC and has played a key role in USA major infrastructure projects involving advanced Jet-Grouting techniques.

Drill Pac USA was a pioneer in introducing Jet-Grouting to North America starting in 1990. The 63rd Street Line Connection project in New York (1995–1997) marked a turning point for the adoption of this technique in the United States.

Between 2001 and 2022, we carried out numerous projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, installing Jet-Grouting impermeable walls at various critical points along the American River levee system in Sacramento (CA), even in areas with complex infrastructure interferences.

From 2003 to 2004, we executed over 30,000 m³ of Jet-Grouting for the West Side CSO Tunnel in Portland (OR), reaching depths of up to 103 meters to protect existing infrastructure and ensure groundwater control.

Between 2006 and 2009, we constructed a deep impermeable cutoff wall at the Clifton OU-1 MGP contaminated site in Staten Island (NY), using tri-fluid Jet-Grouting up to 37 meters deep in highly challenging soil conditions.

For the Parallel Thimble Shoal Tunnel project in Virginia Beach (2018–2024), we consolidated over 90,000 m³ of soil to stabilize the TBM access structures and break-in and break-out zones.

In the I-64 HRBT Expansion project in Norfolk (VA), we carried out the consolidation of over 100,000 m³ of soil between 2021 and 2023, completing the intervention in December 2023.

Two major Jet-Grouting projects have been completed in 2024 by DRILL PAC USA, in Virginia.

In March 2024, the company successfully completed a USD 40.0 million subcontract for Hampton Roads Connector Partners as part of the I-64 Hampton-Roads Expansion Project in Norfolk. DRILL PAC USA stabilized over 110,000 cubic meters of alluvial soils on this project for the construction of bottom plugs at the two new approach structures for the tunnels and to stabilize ground at the zones of break-in and break-out of the tunnel boring machine (TBM) with shafts.

In June 2024, under a USD 19.2 million subcontract from the Chesapeake Tunnel Joint Venture (CTJV), DRILL PAC USA, completed the Jet-Grouting stabilization of over 70,000 cubic meters of soil. Jet-Grouting was used on this project to provide ground stabilization in areas of shallow soil cover for the TBM tunnel, to improve soft organic soils present below the invert of the future TBM tunnel, to create safe havens for the inspection and repair of the TBM head on the tunnel alignment, to stabilize ground at the zones of break-in and break-out of the tunnel boring machine (TBM) with shafts and to create bottom plugs for the construction of the two tunnel approach structures,.
